I'M FROM: The suburbs of Atlanta, GA.
MY EDUCATION: BFA / Graphic Design / The University of Georgia.
I SPENT MY 20s: Touring as a drummer in rock bands. Designing record covers and posters for bands, and working various jobs (bartender, door guy, screen printer, video store geek, and prep cook) in Athens, GA.
FIRST "REAL" JOB: The University of Georgia Press / Marketing Graphic Designer (2002-2003).
I TURNED 30: And moved to New York City.
MY FIRST YEAR IN NYC: I was a designer at a small firm working in luxury branding.
IN 2004: I started Sosebee Design Studios. For the past 14 years, I've created designs and illustrations that have appeared in publications and retail markets worldwide. My work is primarily focused in children's publishing, book design, and branding.
CLIENTS INCLUDE: Disney, Nickelodeon, Yale University, The Kennedy Center, The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, The New York Historical Society, McGraw-Hill, Harper Collins, Scruff, The Georgia Museum of Art, Gonzaga University, The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, and Last Gasp!
